This watercolor by Jean Cate shows a lonely castor flower almost bare of leaves. It's spherical blossoms glow softly red like ripe fruit in the last days of autumn. Gentle movements and swaying of the castor flower can be felt within the piece. Natural earthen hues of ochre and rouge are focal points of the piece.
Includes UV glass frame. Reddish cherry wood frame.
Dimensions: 27" x 20"
