Mudsponge White Finishing
This sponge made with a tight-cell material is less absorbent than the Mudsponge Blue Workhorse. It is excellent for finishing work, final detail and clean-up of surfaces and won’t pull out grog or other materials in the clay body.
Natural sponges have been used for years. However, the quality of natural sponges can be unpredictable and there are some issues of environmental pressure. Mudtools sponges are made of an environmentally friendly material that is incredibly durable and compressed for economy of space and for the fun of watching them expand when introduced to water.
3.75" long and 2.6" wide
Made in Bat Cave North Carolina, Mudtools began because of a gap in the market. Artist Michael Sherrill couldn’t find the right tools to make his work. So he started making his own. People saw how the tools performed and wanted them for themselves. A business was born. Mudtools are particularly well known for their self polishing ribs. Made in 6 different shape for the various needs of hand builders and throwers, each of the 6 shapes come in a gradation of four hardnesses.
