A fourth generation German company, Mobius and Rupert started making pencil sharpeners in 1922. Their factory was located in the Erlangan, the heart of the European pencil industry. Surrounded by pencil makers, they focused on a product that allows each pencil to be used with precision until worn to a stub so short it can no longer be held comfortably in a human hand. This factory in Germany continues to produces all of their products.
