Ceramic Tea Bowl

This ceramic tea bowl is made by Chicago-based artist Andrew Jessup. The vessel is salt fired and features beautiful mauve, lavender, cream, bronze, and mist hues.  The piece features chartreuse drips of glazed cascading down from the mouth of the bowl and dark gray speckles throughout the surface. The form of the bowl is round and symmetrical with a plinth-like base. The interior of the bowl is varigate with teals and bronze with a vibrant cerulean pool of color at the bottom of the bowl.
