Crafted in Italy from hard tempered steel, these little shears are extremely sharp – perfect for cutting ribbon and other textiles, without becoming dull. Refined blades also make them ideal for embroidery and other detailed work.
These scissors are heirloom tools that you will use for years to come. The Crane scissors have a lovely shape, with finely engraved details, they feature nickel-plated blades and gold-plated handles. A thin layer of 24 karat gold is applied to the scissors to have a beautiful gold finish that makes them shine!

In a small street in Boston, tucked away among other shops, sits Studio Carta. This design studio imports a unique line of products from Italy. Begun in 2004 by Angela Liguori. A native of Rome, Angela grew up in the shadow of Saint Peter’s Basilica with her mother’s dressmaking tools all around her. Now Carta specializes in desk tools, scissors, 100% cotton ribbon and other small notions.
