A simple, high-quality planner that embraces the goodness of the material and minimal design. This planner provides space to write down thoughts and inspirations and includes monthly schedule pages (December 2020 - January 2022) and 385 pages of undated daily pages, allowing you to chronicle your life in detail. Daily pages feature hours from 8:00am to midnight on the left hand side to schedule your day, and blank space on the right to keep a diary or draw pictures. There are seven bullet points at the top so that you can make a to-do list or fill in the hours from 1 to 7. The schedule lines on the other side can be seen faintly through the blank space, providing a guide for you to use when writing. The planner features a durable cream PVC cover, MD paper, lay flat thread-stitched binding, two string bookmarks, and index labels (12 numbered, 12 plain) and the pages on the right hand side have marks so that you can stick the tabs in just the right spot.

Since the 1950’s Midori has been asking themselves, “How can we update and hone the comfort of writing?” Part of their answer lay in using broad leafed trees with softer pulp rather than conifers. Another part came through using filtered river water rather than treated water. Yet another was to take away the cover from the notebook, which often makes notebooks harder to open and decreases the comfort of writing. Instead they use a cheesecloth tape, often found on the inside of book bindings. Every stage of production is monitored by the human hand. How does the pulp feel immersed in water? How does the page feel when you run your hands across it? How does the pen feel as it slides over the paper?
