Squash Study Watercolor Workshop | November 10th @ Martha Mae Studio - Chicago
Join artist and Martha Mae founder, Jean Cate, for an intimate in-person watercolor workshop at the Martha Mae Studio in Chicago, IL on Sunday, November 10th from 10AM-12PM.
Explore the world of watercolors with Jean as she guides you through the exploration of still life painting. Our models for the morning will be a bountiful selection of squash. From honeynut and delicata to kobocha and acorn, each squash has a personality all its own. Study the colors, shapes, and textures of different varieties while painting your own squash portraits.
All necessary materials will be provided for your painting session, but feel free to bring your favorite art supplies if you have them. Additionally, explore the curated selection of Martha Mae favorites available for purchase in the studio to enhance your creative toolkit.
Tickets include the watercolor workshop, pastries, coffee and/or tea. Watercolor palettes not included to take home, but are available for purchase post-event.
