Handmade Watercolor Notebook 9

This one-of-a-kind watercolor notebook is handmade in Chicago by Katherine Anderson. The cover of the book is made from a vintage map over durable book board and has a landscape orientation. Each notebook is bound with a coptic stitch - a book structure that is ideal for sketching and painting, as it enables the book to lay flat when open. The book contains 28 sheets of 80lb Strathmore 500 Series Aquarius II Cold Press Watercolor Paper. Each map cover is unique, and the maker embraces the subtle evidence of the map's history as a travel companion. In giving these maps a new life, the book invites the user to create a history of their own within its pages.
