Jean Cate is a Chicago based artist, owner of Martha Mae: Art Supplies & Beautiful Things and co-owner of The Center of Order and Experimantation. She studied painting, drawing and ceramics at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She creates evocative ink paintings and drawings while exploring atmosphere, isolation, emptiness and harmony within chaos.
