Scenting Branches - Ebony

These cast porcelain branches are a beautiful and elegant way to scent any space. They are designed by Wms&Co. and made in Limoges, France by a company that has been crafting exquisite objects for centuries. A few drops of essential oil on the branches with slowly diffuse into the air.

This set includes three porcelain scenting branches, a handcrafted solid walnut wood base with ebony stain , and a 5 ml bottle steam-distilled essential oil of palo santo, all packaged in Wms&Co.'s signature black box. Use the essential oil included or substitute for any essential oil of your choosing. The branches can also be used without oil or base as a lovely sculptural accent.

Directions: 

• Arrange the branches horizontally on the wooden base.
• Place several drops of the oil on the branches; the amount depends on the strength of the oil and the desired intensity of fragrance.
• Layer essential oils onto the branches for an evolving fragrance landscape.
• The palo santo oil is colorless and will not discolor the branches, though some darker oils may leave a residue. To clean the branches, carefully wash by hand using dish soap.
• Small marks and cracks in the base show the natural character and charm of wood; we do not consider them defects.

WMS & Co is the passion project of a team of design consultants who have spent the last two decades working for Tiffany and Co, West Elm, David Yurman, Jack Spade and The Drawing Center, among others. They make exquisitely practical tools or more specifically turn banal objects or office necessities into exquisite objects. Jotting a note, stamping a logo, placing a bookmark, handing someone a business card, each moment  suddenly holds real weight. Many of their designs have a slight gilding, all of them are of a quality we have rarely encountered before.
