This small salt fired ceramic cup is made by Chicago-based artist Andrew Jessup. This vessel has an organic, asymmetrical shape with a light brown glaze and cream spots revealed beneath it throughout the surface. There is a bright scarlet burst of color which peaks out from the base of the piece.
