Jean Cate is the artist and owner of Martha Mae: Art Supplies & Beautiful Things. She studied painting, drawing and ceramics at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She creates evocative paintings and drawings exploring atmosphere, isolation, emptiness and harmony within chaos.
