The Kaweco Lunar Sport Rollerball Pen in Light Green captures the gentle glow of moonlight with a shimmering finish that shifts beautifully as it catches the light. This luminous shade reveals a fascinating iridescent effect where green and bronze tones alternate with movement, creating lively color contrasts that bring the pen’s surface to life. Within the Lunar series’ theme of light and shadow, Light Green represents the softer, brighter side of the duo. Subtle, radiant, and endlessly captivating.
The iridescent effect creates captivating color contrasts that feel both subtle and vibrant, embodying a delicate balance between brightness and depth. As part of the “play of light and shadow” concept, Light Green offers the lighter, more ethereal side of the duo, enhancing the visual drama when paired with its darker counterpart.
Refills available here. Sport pen clips available in silver and gold.
Kaweco was established in 1883 outside Heidelberg Germany, although it was not yet called Kaweco and the design that is the most recognizable, Kaweco Sport, was not designed until 1911. A fountain pen that was not a heavy, expensive desk piece but rather lightweight and convenient was an innovation. Ballpoint pens, what we would think of as an analogy to this experience, were invented in 1888 but a reasonably functional design was not produced until 1938 and popularization came mostly after World War II, by then the Kaweco Sport was a classic as well as many other designs produced by Kaweco.
