This water-resistant fineliner features water-based pigment ink, making it the perfect companion for the Midori Notebook. Available in three line widths ideal for daily use, it greatly expands your range of written expression. The tip size is clearly indicated by a solid line on the barrel, designed for at-a-glance recognition. You can intuitively pick the size you need, even when the pen is lying on your desk. The cream-colored barrel is designed to match the Midori Notebook. It blends gently with the paper's hue, creating a natural sense of harmony when placed together.
The 0.1mm tip is ideal for fine lines detailed drawings.
The 0.3mm tip offers the most versatility. It covers a wide range of uses, from daily writing to illustrations.
The 0.5mm tip is ideal for idea sketches and rough drawings.
Tip sizes: 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 mm

Since the 1950’s Midori has been asking themselves, “How can we update and hone the comfort of writing?” Part of their answer lay in using broad leafed trees with softer pulp rather than conifers. Another part came through using filtered river water rather than treated water. Yet another was to take away the cover from the notebook, which often makes notebooks harder to open and decreases the comfort of writing. Instead they use a cheesecloth tape, often found on the inside of book bindings. Every stage of production is monitored by the human hand. How does the pulp feel immersed in water? How does the page feel when you run your hands across it? How does the pen feel as it slides over the paper?
