Paul Smith x Caran D'Ache Set of 12 Bicolor Pencils and Brush

For over ten years, Caran d’Ache and Paul Smith have celebrated their shared passion for color, design and audacity. With this 5th edition, the Swiss Maison and the British designer playfully push boundaries to reinvent the art of the beautifully crafted object. Made in Switzerland, the set comprises of twelve 10-ply pencils made from FSC™-certified prime cedar wood. The pencil bodies feature two-tone colours matching the leads and result in 24 different colors. The soft and water-soluble lead allows for dry or wet application and a single No.5 brush is included.

Swiss made from 1915 to the present day. Caran d’Ache was founded when Geneva had no other pencil maker. The city was filled with watchmakers and jewelers and that atmosphere of detail and innovation affected this company. They designed the first mechanical pencil, invented the first watercolor pencil and their line of pencils, luminance 6901, won a certificate for the highest lightfastness.
